Antenatal Classes Dublin & Cork

Be prepared for labour and birth by attending our One Day Antenatal Class in Dublin and Cork. Classes are held in three different venues in Dublin for your convenience. Our experienced midwives will guide you through what to expect from late pregnancy, signs and stages of labour, pain relief, caring for baby and Mums post natal health.

It is recommended that you attend your complete one day course somewhere between 28 and 36 weeks of pregnancy. Those attending the class have opted for a 1 Day Antenatal Class as opposed to attending classes spread over a number of weeks as offered by the maternity hospitals.

Time and Places for our Antenatal Classes in Dublin and Cork

Our One Day Antenatal Classes are held in bright, comfortable surroundings – we currently hold classes in Dublin North (Hilton Hotel, Malahide Road), South (Bewleys Hotel, Ballsbridge beside the RDS) & West (Crowne Plaza Hotel, Blanchardstown). All venues have parking and are easily assessible by public transport links.

Antenatal classes in Cork are held in the Kingsley Hotel, Victoria Cross, Cork City

Registration is 9am for a 9:30 start, classes typically finish before 4.30pm subject to any questions participants may have.

You dont need to bring anything except perhaps a cushion if its more comfortable for Mum to Be!

Course Fee

Our One Day Antenatal classes in Dublin cost €170 for 2 people or €120 for 1. This includes morning tea/coffee – we also provide a comprehensive information pack for you to take home.

Note: Check out your Health Insurance Policy – Our One Day Antenatal Classes are run by Qualified Midwives and as such certain policies allow a Reclaim under Reclaimable Maternity Benefits -Prenatal Care/Midwifery Services.

Cancellations

A full refund is given up to 3 weeks before the course is due to commence. A 50% refund is given up to 1 week before the course is due to commence. Unfortunately no refund is given if less than 1 week before course is due to commence.

We found the day extremely helpful and reassuring. To be honest I had heard from most of my friends who had had babies that their antenatal classes were just something that needed to be done (they didn’t do them with Tots 2 Teens needless to say) and that in a way it was a waste of time for them. But they should have done it with you! We found it the complete opposite.

The day covered exactly what we needed to know and did so in a way that was informative yet reassuring (which helps with all the scary bits!). I will definitely be recommending you to our friends. We learnt a lot and came away with more than I thought we ever would!
